iCE3 GPRS Circuit Extender
NOTE: The legacy GPRS iCE3 is no longer available for sale and has been superceded by the iCE3 3G.
The iCE3, is a wireless telemetry device that enables non-GPRS capable devices to be remotely accessed or telemetered through a GPRS network. Such devices (which are fitted with an RS232 port), include dataloggers, PLCs and intelligent instruments.
iCE3 provides all the GPRS network connectivity, link maintenance and if necessary, RS232 handshaking required to successfully communicate with, and send wireless data the host device.
The iCE3 has been rapidly accepted by the market since its release in March 2004 and is performing effectively and reliably in a number of wireless telemetry installations, including environmental datalogging, flow metering and remote wireless control.
